If I install a mod, can I play still play the original version, without reinstalling everything?

you can play original version then, of course. But you would need to rewrite rewriten files again with PakMan. But I think it is no problem

You can just aswell follow the deinstallation-instruction of the mod. Usually that consists of deleting from 1 to 4 folders. Then KoH is back at it's original.
