ok i kinda liked the demo and battles so i bought it.
here is what I think

pros:
- excellent Music, sound
- nice battles and kingdom view
- multiplay options
- nice graphic
- battles are fun (Could have been much more fun if random map geneartor is avaliable!!)
- diplomacy is fun

cons:
- bit pricey (about $44 USD including tax!) for a 2D game
- No Random Map generator for battles (u have no option to choose which nation, what units to play in Quick battle mode. If Computer says u should be turkish, then u have no option to be british. WTF???)
- No one on gamespy
- When playing European Mission, 99.9% of time I don't lead battles. Also, Quick Battle mode is really really limited. So the overall battle play seems really limited.
- Hard to quickly find provinces, marshals..
- extremely slow building, slow moving. i guess it is realistic but it gets annoying after while..

Im still figuring out this game. I just wish i could play the battles the way I like (not what the Computer randomly generate in Quick Battle). No option to choose ur nation, opponent, units, grounds, etc in Quickbattle mode is disappointing.
Also, 99% of time i end up Not leading the battle.

If there was a way you could set up battles like mulitplayer that would be awesome. Were you pick the area you want, then your troops. That would be a verry good feature for single player.
Also on another note I noticed in multi it lists units stats and such, can you see this in single player when buying troops, or is it only on the feild you can see these stats.

1. Actually, $44 (w/ tax) isn't that much. Most computer games are $50 when they come out so don't complain about a $40 price tag.
2. It's actually easy to find provinces and marshals. For provinces look at the mini-map and for marshals click on them in your royal court and click the one that takes you to him.
3. The game doesn't have to be slow. By pressing the + or - key you can speed up or slow down the game when you want to go faster/slower.

- No Random Map generator for battles (u have no option to choose which nation, what units to play in Quick battle mode. If Computer says u should be turkish, then u have no option to be british. WTF???)you are right. Patch it!
- When playing European Mission, 99.9% of time I don't lead battles. Also, Quick Battle mode is really really limited. So the overall battle play seems really limited.well, you can chose either to lead battles or not. You say that you - on your own! - decided not to lead battles. So it is YOU who limits usage of battles, not the game :go: I can only recomend you to try some with better armies than just peasants and you'll start to love them as I did(first I led also not more than 1% of all batles, now I lead over 50% depending on chance to win easily. When there is a rish, I take the lead)
- Hard to quickly find provinces, marshals..
you can open province overview (between kingdom advantages and kingdom rankings) and by clicking at province you'll move there.
Double click on marshalls icon at royal court leads you to him :go:

Webmaster i was wondering are people like you or any of the mods at these forums (mainly English forums I'm talking about because I only have 1 year of German in school) a part of the game crew or related to the game or have any say on anything? It seems you and some other people like Angryminer and Elvain know so much with over 1000 posts.
