Ok i have another question. So my cleric is pope and he calls a crusade. Now for some reason i can't call a crusade. Why is that? Edit: Grrrr please help im going nuts! ah! :eek: My stupid pope keeps making the polish go on crusades! But not me! aaaaaaahhhh! :bash: :bash: :bash: Oh I figured it out. I had to declare war first. :lol: my bad.

Ok I have another question, again. (Sorry but i couldn't figure this out for the life of me. :bash: ) Anyway, I need help with that cheat bsswitch. I type it out and nothing happens, so is this normal? How do I select the country i want to be? Thanks in advance.

Let's do it step by step:
1. Go to the political view.
2. Left click once on the nation you want to become.
3. Use the cheat "bsswitch".
4. You are now in control of the ai-nation you had selected. But please note that the ai is not yet ruling your former nation and it is still ruling your new nation. But I'm not sure what the exact cheatcodes are to change this.

haha i know what to do with that cheat. I was spain, and i changed to france (we were at war) and I messed up there country with rebellion and made there king go right into my hands. Then i switched back to spain. :lol: :rofl:

And as long as im making this post, can your cleric be promoted to patriarch when your subordinated to the church of constantinople? I never have had this happen, or even a patriarch die. :scratch:

you need to claim independent church(in your piety window) and it means war with Byzantia/Nicaea and worse relations with all subordinated orthodox kingdoms

So your cleric can't be promoted to patriarch while subordinated? You know like the pope gets promoted over all the catholics, can he be patriarch over all the orthodox people?

if you mean promoted as patriarch in Constantinople("orthodox pope"), answer is no.

To claim independent church you need 5 star cleric. But when you have him, you can promote him as patriarch by proclamation of independent church.

Subordinated orthodox churches can proclaim independency(if having 5star cleric), independent can subordinate to Constantinople. Nothing more

patriarch of Constantinople is under influence of Byzantine emperor...that's the reason
