Also, about the mods: i don't know why, but fan-made modifications to the games have always annoyed me. I know that it's a lot of work, i apreciate you guys doing it but i feel that only the creators have a right to change anything. If i'm certain that the project hase been abandoned and there will be no future patches, i might try them out.
There is only one very old statement about patches (from time when no North American release was planed)

There are 2 possible ways to election:
1. regular election which takes place from time to time and you can't influence when it comes. there are 2 candidates and if one is elected here, he's a winner. If nobody is elected, nothing happens
2. open royal dynasty window and there is "Claim your title" button. In this case you claim title of Ultimate emperor. If you are elected, you win. If you are not elected, you are at war with all 6 moost powerfull kingdoms

Right now during my campaign as Burgundy, my kingdom is the most powerful in Europe and I currently have a harmonious relationship and an alliance with all of the other kingdoms on the "Most Powerful Kingdoms" list. However, the game is not letting me claim my title! It appears that the button is greyed out! I had already attempted to claim my title once, but I had failed and I initially assumed that you couldn't claim your title twice with the same king, so I killed my king off. However, I still can't claim my title with my new king either! Does anybody know why this is happening to me and is there anyway I can regain the option to claim my title or do I just have to wait for the next election? Can anybody help me? This is extremely frusterating!!!! :bash: :bash: :bash:

I think that you can't claim your title 2 times during the same game. This is just what I think because ive never tried it.

You propably have to wait until the next election as it seems. I never claimed the title for myself, so I don't know if you can claim it twice.
