What do you have to do if you want to make your own kingdom (I'd like to create a kingdom myself)?

Mod it in...religion is another thing, though.

Do you mean that you want to be able to unite certain provinces to creat a kingdom that you name?

If so look at this thread: http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?t=3898

Elvain is all knowing
defs\Quests\unite_england*.ini
definces kingdoms which can make quest, effect of quest etc.
*or Almohads, Aragon, Byzantia, Burgundy, France etc.
to make new quest - copy one of existing to original directory, rename it and define as you want

If not... I guess I just wasted some time at work typing this instead of doing my real job :silly:

if you want to play with YOUR kingdom from the beggining, add it into the file kingdoms_800/1000/1200.ini directory maps/europe/map in europe.pak

you need to: 1) add it there (province-pick it and remove prom previous owner)
2) add this kingdom to texts/map/realms.tsv
3) add it to kingdoms.ini
4)define it's kings and units

Where do I define the kingdom's units?

Thanks! :hello:

EDIT: Do I need to edit one or both (i.e. if I adjust the .xls, will the (confusing) .txt file be adjusted and/or ignored?) of the .xls and the .txt?

The .txt-file is read. The xls-file is not read. But you can edit the xls file, blick "Edit -> Select all", "Edit -> Copy" and paste the contents into the .txt file.
