i have a question...
did the company release the game to stores in israel?
if they did, is it worthy to buy it? i read that it got lot of problems with all this "insert original cd2" thingy...
and if they didn't... so... release it....

Welcome to the forum, Der Fool! :go:
No, KoH wasn't released in Israel to my knowledge. You should try to import it.
About the original-cd2-error: These are user-errors. Either people complain because their burned copy doesn't work or they didn't update their cd-drive's firmware.
In all other cases the copy-protection worked to my knowledge.

The firmware is the internal software of the CD-drive. It is available at the manufacturer's website.
Usually a firmware-upgrade isn't necessary, but if there are problems with the copyprotection this usually helps.

Hi everybody :hello:
I want to buy KoH, but there is written that recommended RAM is 512 MB.
I have only 256 MB. Will it run properly?
Thanks

I used to have only 256 ram for it. It would run, but whenever loading is involved it takes about 3 times as long before when I got 512 more. Also, you will get "low virtual memory warnings" sometimes. More ram isn't necessary, but I upgraded my laptop for this reason. Also, your computer will go much faster in everything else.
Simply put, it will work with 256 Ram but 512 more or just more in general will just make it more of a breeze. :go:

It just runs smoother because you use less swap files (hard drive space) to run the game, if it requires 256 megs, it means if u have 256 it will run but it will run smoother and faster with 512 if it is recomended. I personally didnt look as i have 1gig of ram and 3 ghz processor and nvidia 6800 256meg ram system. I dont typically look at what is required because i keep upgrading my system to keep it running fast and smooth

But I want to ask: by such a PC, whether you have any problems with older games, for those could be your PC too good.

My older games that i still play (non dos based games) like starcraft and others still work. Just have to take down scroll speeds and things like that. But KOH runs great on my machine.
