I was thinking about starting a game and to make it a bit more realistic and difficult I will play iron man like always but make my best generals my king and princes, my question is what do the stars by the king and princes do exactally, like does 3 warefare make the king a better general, or does it make all combat a little better than a king with no stars? also do these skills raise any, if I fight with a prince with no stars can he become king with 3? I usually make my royalty merchants, and have never noticed them gain economy. then again the only way to advance a merchant that I have found is by books, and usually I let others that wont die soon read books.
