This is a tough one. I'd have to go for Legolas from Lord of the Rings and Eärendil from the Silmarillion. Or maybe Tuor from the Silmarillion. Or maybe Gimli from Lord of the Rings. Oh btw, did I tell you I was a Tolkien maniac? :p

But honestly my favourite character must be "Jock" from "Eyes of Tigers" by "Tonke Dragt"

hey, Xante, this is my pic, take another :)

"horatio hornblower from the hornblower novels by c.s. forester"

Aww, really? I read 2 hornblower novels, a few years ago. I thought it was poor. On the same topic, I think the novels of Patrick O'Brian are much better and depict the navy during the Napoleon era more closely.

You are wrong. Hornblower rocks.

pfft.

You have a problem.
Hornblower arrives.
Enemies are stupid and just plain bad.
Hornblower rocks.
There is no problem anymore and once again Admiral Horblower is a hero.

*yawn*

If you've just read 2 novels, he isn't admiral, unless you started at the end. Series usually **** if you read them backwards.
