Hey – any of you folks have interesting quirks to discuss. Here are two.

The Royal Wench Scenario:
1) I’m playing Munster and wasted little time defeating Leinster, who by this time had already lost a war with Wessex. Before I conquered Leinster, I could clearly ascertain that the condition of their surrender to Wessex was a royal marriage and vassalage. Interestingly, after I conquered Leinster, the royal marriage was still intact. There was no Leinster left but now there was a royal marriage between Wessex and Munster. I don’t know about you but I would have had that Leinster wench working the local pubs not serving me as royalty. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened after my king died but France came along and ruin everything by conquering Wessex.

The “Please Come Spank Me Good Sir” Scenario
2) I’m playing East Anglia and in a slugfest with Germany. I start noticing that Germany is gaining diplomatic ground with their neighbors and the war is growing to include others against me, so I check the diplomacy view to check to see what more I might expect. To my surprise, the “very young” German king was “united” with my king. I mean WTF, I’m at war with him and he’s having an affair with my king? Nobody told me. Why am I always the last to know these things – Yuk!

If you are still at war and he's united with you, demand vassalage.

Are you by chance in war with a nation that is at war with germany and have attacked them (germany's foe) a lot? That would be a reason why they like you so much.

Angryminer - that very well could have been the case. I'm a warmonger (KoH = knights of Horror when I play). If I recall, Germany was after Normandy (as usual) and I conquered them. The only problem was that Germany shifted to "united" while I was at war with him (Germany).

The relation with you may have worsened due to the declaration of war, but after all you didn't really attack them and eleminated their propably worst (because near) foe. You just saved them loads of time, rebellions, money and soldiers. For free.

Maybe we were united in hatred for each other (United as foes). We agreed to disagree.
