SecuROM validation procedure

Just bought KOH for 44 euro. Installed it - but it won't work. It says 'can't validate the CD-ROM, see www.securom/copy' for details. Also, with the patch installed (1.3), same problem. It's is a bloody legal CD-rom :bash: , so please provide with details how my game will start.

There are several possibilities why the game fails to verify the CD. I suggest two actions:
a) Try another CD-drive if possible.
b) Or update the CD-drive's firmware. Often enough old firmwares aren't capable of reading copy protected CDs correctly. The firmware should be available at the manufacturor's website. But be careful to read the instructions or you may render the drive unusable at all.

If you don't want to do either of these you may also want to contact the sunflowers-support page and open a ticket there. They have more knowledge about error-messages than we do here on the forums.
