Unplayable Game Awaits November Patch-convenient Swindlers Scam

Well I suppose I have nothing to do but wait until November.
I guess I can put my two PURCHASED CD's in a nice spot on my coffee table as a decoration until then..........NOT!!!!!




Please be advised naive consumer (and yes I fit into that category also)-there is a lot of info on this forum about this game being playable NOW.


Well I can tell you for some of you that will be true and then for others like me
you will get no further than installation because THAT issue APPARENTLY is waiting for the NOVEMBER patch!!!!


Many of you,like me,will be the victims of this crafty "Sunflower Swindler Scheme"



Crafty but unfortunately utilised by other thieves before.


Selling CD's which are unplayable-In other words FRAUD
Selling people DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE AND EXPECTING THEM TO WAIT MONTHS FOR A "PATCH" TO MAKE THE SOFTWARE USABLE :angry: :angry: :confused: :sick:

1. There is no warranty that the software works under all conditions. That isn't possible.
2. You have a 14-days refund-warranty in the most countries.
3. The game works in about 99% of all cases.
4. Where did you read about a patch in November 2005?

That is a complete and utter LIE.


All anyone has to do is read all the various and different threads from people just in this forum alone.

Most of them have the same OR a very similar isue as mine.......nonetheless,they end up with the same predicament as mine:


A Game which is unplayable not because their system does not meet the proper requirements,not because their drivers are not up to date,not ANYTHING having to do with the consumers system but rather because of some moronic glitch in the copywrite code which is processed into the CD's themselves.

Mine is NOT an isolated incident.

In fact my case is the opposite.
It can easily form the synthesis of the entire loathsome issue. :sick: :angry: :angry:

I do see a fairly large number of posters with installation problems and your particular issue does seem to crop up way too much, but it is hard to know from posts the ratio of successful/total installs there are (100% would be the goal and I hope a game can get there one day :silly: )

I think the patch you wrote about may have been the 1st patch issued on the European version back in November 2004 but if you know about another one comming up we would all be VERY interested.

If you gave up on the installation problems I hope you managed to get a refund or credit at the store you bought it from.

Also, of course there are many problems installing here. It's where you're supposed to do it! But you aren't going to see everyone with a successful installation posting that it worked!! So think before you call everyone liars, because just because you or your computer has issues with the game, it doesn't make the people who made it swindlers.
