what is a .rle file? with what it is opened? whats its use?

i only found out its a compression algoritm(aren't they all :) but with what tool to edit it?

rle = runtime length encoded
but for KoH it's a BSS own graphics format and no standard graphic application can open it

:silly: They can though, pity.

Maybe they should think about a BMP/GIF converter to their RLE format, then at least we could move our updates into the game?

i am doubting that even if i new more programming i could "guess" the right algorithm.

Maybe we need to start a petition :rolleyes:

Thanx for the support. Maybe if not possible, they'll take this into account for KoH2?

Hi there, I have made lots of units from romans to egyptians I would really like to add them into the game if possible as I think they look pretty nice. here are some pictures of them in action. (they can befound on another forum thread as well)

I'd like to create a campaign based on the "Dark Ages" but if no tools then I guess there's no point :confused:

Well I guess they aren't interested in giving us one, pity because alot could have been added, modified, or even enhanced :confused:

I'll keep my fingers crossed, but it looks like other games are starting to pinch ideas from this title anyway. I definately hope that there's enough for v2!!!
