Problems installing on XP

I've recently attempted to install my copy of Anno 1602 on my only accessible computer, which is running Windows XP. Every time I try to install, I get a message about a filename being too long or something of that sort... has this problem been encountered (or hopefully, fixed?) by anybody else?

I´m not sure, which Anno version you have..if you have the basis version you can download a patch on the Sunflowers homepage or try Ghostwalkers installer here (http://www.newscenterx.de/downloadassistent/dlass.php?action=dload&id=28) or try a naual installation http://www.anno1602.de/english/support_main.html
