Hook problem after updating koh

Today I decided to replay KoH, since it is one of my favorite games.
All worked fine after installing the game, but after installing the v1.03 patch the game doesn't work any more.
The game finds a hook process, and what ever I'll try nothing will not work!
I thought patches where made to fix problems, not to create them!!!!! :angry:

Do you have a tool like Agnitum Outpost or Spysweeper or Windowblinds installed? Those should be uninstalled.

Yes I removed Spysweper, but it still gives a hook problem.
but clearly Spysweper isn't the problem, this update is, since everything worked just fine before updating.........bad programming?
