Parrots and ears?

ok, when i give the parrot some berries, it says 'flat' but what does that mean? i have tried running to the other side of the stone guy and press action when the parrot speaks, but that didnt work, so what DO you do? i have tried standing on the bason beside him also but that did not work either. sorry for needing so much help- im really not too good at this! :lol:

Put some berries in the bowl, wait for the parrot and read the word you see (I think it is "I"). Then go to the "ear", give the parrot once more a berry and hear it say "I". Proceed in a similiar way with the next stations, and at the last one you should assembly a whole sentence. :wink:
