Could someone tell me if a province can mod with more building slots? So, one can build everything?

Dear All:

Good afternoon from Canada!! I hope this finds you and yours well. As for me, I could complain...yadda, yadda, yadda.

First of all, I believe an introduction of myself is in order. I am Sir Sam of Wessex. It'll be a week tomorrow since I came into ownership of ths glorious game and finding that I'm loving it as much as I love my Age of Mythology. The company has really done their homework on this one, and I applaud their efforts!!! :pleased:

Yet, I do have a couple of questions. 1) As France, I found that in one of games that I had been excommunicated by the Church. What were the things that were frowned up by the Church in the Middle Ages? 2) First of all, if you don't have enough money for the more expensive soldiers, take some of your peasants and hire mercenaries, if they are present in your realm. Question here: My allies are always asking for help and asking me to break relations with this, that or the other country. What is your advice here in keeping myself from being spread too thin here?

I also have a third question: What is the provinces are best suited to put Marshals in? When I have a king who has only three sons and a marshal, I find myself heading for Niagara Falls here.

I'm really scratching  head here?

In closing, I've got a little help here for the person who keeps running out of money. It's a cheat, but it's been working wonders for me. It's simply this: bskinti It gives you 1000 Deity, 1000 Books and 100,000 in extra gold.

Live long and prosper, take care and thank you kindly I'm off to ride with the Knights!!

Sincerely yours always,

Sir Sam.

Welcome to KoH, Sir Sam of Wessex! :halloha:
About your questions:
1. Warmongering against catholics without the required ... gifts ... ( :dwink: ) to the church was the usual thing to be deemed in the medieval era. Money controls everything.
Use the piety-screen to send the pope a gift and he will close on eye when you want to wreak havok amongst your fellow brothers-in-church.
Also building a nice (read: giant) cathedral will make the pope a good friend of yours.
2. Choose your allies wise. Allying with someone includes that you have to assist them in a war. Even if the opposing faction is your second ally. That is very bad for your reputation in europe.
Also, choose wise whom to assist and whom not to assist. I usually deny all request except when they aim against someone I would have declared war against anyway or come from someone I want assistance from.
3. Place your marshalls wherever they are needed. Near unhappy provinces, near your enemy, etc. Just protect whatever you deem protection-worthy.
