Which is your preference? A second patch or an expansion pack?
Arguments in favour of a second patch:
We deserve a free second patch. The AI has always been weak. This has been a known problem and still nothing was really done about it. There are still bugs in the game causing numerous crashes. There are aspects of the game that still make no sense and are of no use. (Princesses, Clerics and Farmers). These issues should have been delt with even before the game was released. As is stand now, KoH is not worth the money to purchase it.
Arguments in favour of an expansion pack:
There is nothing wrong with the AI. Highly skilled players would find almost any AI to be "too easy". The game is blanaced enough after the first patch. An expansion pack would include far, far more improvements than a second patch, including even more ramped-up AI as well as possibly even the long-requested multiplayer option. Any further work by the developer costs money. So an expansion pack would help to offset the costs and give incentive to actually get it done. Plus it would give additional visible shelve exposure to the game. For further incentive, perhaps give a discount on the expansion pack to those who have registered prior to a certain date.
