View Full Version : Feature tranfer error Window

I am having this problem with my KOH game, when i try to intall the game ,about half way a window pops up and tell me this message:
"Feature: Main componaent
Component: Packs
File: F:/data2.cab
error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)"

If any one can help me to fix this problem that would be great. thanks.

That's nasty. Is your RAM 100% okay? I had problems with installations before, and it was my RAM that was faulty.

rams is fine, all my other games are running perfect, I just don't understand what else could be wrong, and from that window it doesn't tell me much.

I have that exact same problem and I can assure you my RAM is fine. Is there anything else that could be causing the problem as I really want to play the game as it looks fantastic but can't until I get past this installation problem. I could copy and paste a DXDiag to see if you can find a problem there if you like?

The propablem may also be caused by a bad CD.
But because this isn't verified I'd suggest you to use the Sunflowers-service-system. Those guys really know every error-message. At least all ever encountered on these forums.

Sunflowers' email support will not be available from December, 22nd 2005 until January, 2nd 2006.
