The files of importance

Hi, I've modded games before and just downloaded PakMan. Which files are the simplest/safest/most effective to tinker around in? (Also, can someone unbiased give the comparative advantages and disadvantages of Glory of God and Holy Rome?)

The best folder to mess around in is, in my opinion, the defs folder. In that folder are the constants and numbers. For image changing you'll want to go to the images folder of course..

Advantages, disadvantages? Mods are just based on to different styles of play. You'll have to find out yourself what you like best..their changes give an idea of the mod.
