Is it always 2000 gold you get?

Is there a way to mod this value- I can't find it in the files... anyone know about this one?

It might be affected by the maximum of the marshal skill Enforcer, if it's 2k gcs. I'm not sure about it though.

Seems to vary by that skill... but there's a base of about 700 or so it seems like... Would really like to mod it down a bit. Is it possible to mod down pillage $$ you get when you pillage everything else?

No, you can only mod the amount of money per pillaged rural area per experience star. It's done in skills.in2.
