View Full Version : Anyone know where to adjust Monastery BASE piety rate?
They start out with a certain amount of piety they bring in- I want to change it for my mod. Anyone know what file this is in? I've looked in everything I can think of... something I'm overlooking maybe?
No, that's strange. I wouldn't know how or where atm. There are differences between monasteries too, right?
If it were found, it would be in econst.in2 probably, but maybe it's hardcoded. Anybody else?
I think you can boost it in bonuses that came from buildings (just an example when I created pagan temple for the game, I gave it a bonus that makes each monastery in the province produce 1 book)
so it is defined in buildings' bonuses in buildings.in2 just look at the temple in HolyRome, you'll probably find a way...
but I really don't know about any other way...
Well I think it's hard coded, but I found a way to limit them, I gave a -1a "bonus" for the watch towers to apply to monasteries_bonus (which EVERY city has). That way piety is rarer until you build something that removes this penalty.
