Splitting Nations

Is it possible to split every nation on the map into individual provinces for a mod? I'd like to see hundreds of tiny countries vying for power. Also, having the ability to start a game anywhere at all in Europe would be cool.

You mean giving each province his own kingdom? Yes, that is possible. And a LOT of work too, by the way.

look at What can you edit and where thread, there I describe how to make new kingdoms.

I'm a total noob when it comes to mod making and would have to be shown step by step how to create a new kingdom, but afterwards I could do the rest myself. Though, I'm not quite sure how much time it would actually take to finish... :confused:

Also, don't know how to open the europe.pak file.

Elvain is right - there is a certain limit to the number of kingdoms you can create, I think. In the last era, the whole screen is already filled up. I don't know if there'll appear a scrollbar if you add more or something..

PakMan is used for opening the .PAK files.
