of course a good army requires all different sorts of troops.

but the kind i like most are the mounted troops e.g. heavy cavalry.
there is nothing better than an enemy army pinned down by your own forces and then have your cavalry swing around to hit them in the flank or rear... :go:

btw. the battle of the pelenor fields (riders of rohan vs. mordor army) must be the greatest battle scene EVER!
