Help with DEMO!

Okay folks, I finally loaded up the DEMO to give this game a try and it is pretty cool! I just have a problem, I am on a quest searching for an urn so the ghost in the cellar will let me in to get a bottle of wine and I am in a bell tower and I cannot figure out how to get past a ghost that is blocking my way. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You have to freeze the clock. Pull the lever, freeze the clock, move behind the gate, wait until the gate on the ghost's side closes, and move out quickly.

It's a bit tricky, and maybe you will need some trials before it works... :smile:

Thanks RoadRunner, I had figured out that it had something to do with freezing the clock and something to do with the gated rooms but I was unsure how to trap the ghost in his side. The lever in the gated room threw me off track, I guess it is there to let you out when unsucessful with the procedure.

I better watch out, could get hooked on this game and have to find a way to get the full version. Don't want to go the same route as I used getting the Anno 1503 expansion though, it was very costly(eventhough I am very happy to have that expansion).

Yes, seems that this game is very rare in the U.S. ... I only found a PSOne version at eBay, but no PC game.

I don't remember that situation from the full game at all. I guess it's in the tower, but there was nothing in the full version like that (freeze a clock, huh?). Is that in the demo only, or what?

Yes, this quest is in the demo only. The whole demo was made new, with other quests etc.

Ja, dieses Rätsel gibt es nur in der Demo. Die Demo wurde total neu erstellt. Mit anderen Rätseln und so. Aber man bekommt einen guten Gesamteindruck, da viele Spielwelten vertreten sind. (Canyon, Turm, Feenwald, Dreamertown..)
Es lohnt sich aufjedenfall, sie zu spielen. :go:

Yes LittleFreak it is in the demo only, they mentioned that full version gamers might like to download the demo as well, because it was a new quest. And thanks for the welcome to this part of the board!

RoadRunner, I went searching for it as well and found no PC version of it anywhere. I guess I found the same thing on E-bay that you did for PS1, but Since I have no PlayStation, that is no good. Dang it! I never should have played the Demo! Now I want the full version and cannot find it anywhere.

Das ist ziemlich einfach, sogar noch leichter, als das gepatchte Käfferrennen in der Vollversion. Finde ich. ;)

Thank you Goku! I have placed my order and should have it in a few days! Then I will probably be over here pestering everyone for assistance with the game when I get hung up like I did with the Clock freezing in the DEMO.

The price is only a third of what I wound up giving for the Anno 1503 expansion!

Don't worry, we are already waiting - though I think that you will solve most of the puzzles quickly, and the other ones after a short while. In some cases, I was about giving up, and suddenly I found the solution.

I'm convinced you'll have fun with the game too. I finished the demo by now, by the way. I liked that ghost puzzle (even though I had to look over here for the solution).

Yeah, like I said to RoadRunner earlier. I figured freezing the clock had something to do with it, I just couldn't figure out what. And also that You needed to freeze the clock twice.
