We've just got a brand new computer!:cool: At last I can return to playing one the best games ever, and also one of my favorites, KoH. Moreover, I now play KoH the way it's supposed to be played (now, arrows actually move faster than units and don't pause during flight;:lol: the game now actually takes less than ten minutes to open, and load a game; armies move a light-speed across the map (jet-packs included), and best of all, the AI is actually smarter (okay, not really:silly: ).

Things had gotten so slow on the old computer that I eventually had to uninstall KoH, and had to give it up until now. It was really unplayable before.

Anyway, glad to be back on the board.:cheers:

hehe, welcome back.. Iused to have the same problem (I started to load some savegame-which lasts little longer- and then I could go down to make myslef a cofee and when I cam eback the game was almost loaded :boggrin:) well, yes, this happened when I added some units what made the game bit slower...
It was the old computer what disabled me transformation of exotic goods into valuables, otherwise it would already be in HR1.6 It was just impossible to play the game as each action required loads of time. On gamespeed 4 one minute of play lasted between 5-10 minutes what made the game impossible to play
