While playing as Hungary, I noticed in the province of Transylvania a white cross next to a lake nearly surrounded by mountains. I thought this was an interesting bit of graphic detail. Has anyone else noticed any monuments or landmarks like this, other than the usual stone rings that you find in the provinces of pagan kingdoms? I'd love to know where others might be.

there is one strange island near Scandinavia (the isle of Götland)

Yes, I knew that the stone circles were the equivalent of monastaries for pagan kingdoms. I'll have to check that mysterious island out, and also keep an eye out for other such "eye candy". :-)

Nothing special happened when I sent an army to "investigate" the cross in Transylvania.
