Welcome to the forum, mmmkay. :halloha:
Can you give a more specific discription of the problem? In which exact screen does the error happen? What exact button? What are your system pecifications? Where did you buy the game? If you bought the game in europe, did you patch the game? Do you have anti-virus-software running? What is your DirectX-version? Do you have current drivers for your hardware installed? Which operating system are you running? Du you have modifications installed, or did you ever have any mods installed?

These are the first couple of questions that come to my mind...

My god. Okay, It happens on the screen where the guy is sitting on the throne, and there is the buttone like "play", "uninstall", and "readme". The exact button is the play button. My specifications are good, (I've checked them, just don't feel like listing them). But the only problem I might have with the specifications is the graphics card. I don't know how to check what kind I have. I bought the game in america. No anti virus software. I just installed the newest direct x yesterday to try and fix it, but it didn't fix anything. I'm running Windows XP on an administrator. And there is no mods on the game or computer. phew

Do you get any error-message that would indicate the problem?
Do you have multiple cd-devices? If so, try the CD in your secondary drive.

Nope, no error messages. Just blank. And I have tried it in both drives, neither of them do anything. But how do you cjeck what type of graphics card you have?

If you bought the PC as a complete system you should have recieved a manual with it, or a specifications-sheet where you can read up on this.

Yea, about that. I most likely lost the manual. And there's no chance of getting it back. But isn't there a way to look at all of these specs without the manual? I'm deperate!

We can at least find out the family of the GFX-card.
Do the following steps:
1. Press "Start"
2. Click "Run"
3. Enter "dxdiag" in the textfield and press enter
4. The DirectX diagnose-program starts. Perhaps it wants to ask you wether it should check wether your drivers are verified by Microsoft. The answer is up to you. Both is good.
5. Look at the top of the dxdiag-windows and click on the card "Display".
6. In the upper left corner of the program-windows you should be able to locate the manufacturer, name of the card and available video-memory.

Thanks for all the help man, but none of this is working. I think my computer is just retartded. Because I've tried Half-Life on here and that doesn't work either. I don't understand, I recently bought this computer, one of the newest ones out, and I can't play any games on it!! screw it.....

What step exactly doesn't work? Does it give any errors?

That's awesome that you're determined to help me. The step that the problem occurs is the step wher eit loads up, the menu with the guy sitting on the throne comes up, I click play, and nothing happens. The computer just sits there. Like it doesn't feel like running the game.

I meant which step fails when you try to do that little dxdiag-guide I wrote. You said that also fails. If it does, and you give me the error-discription, I can most propably tell you what's wrong.

You are trying to run the game from autoplay, right? you could try running the game by clicking on the shortcut on your desktop, or if you don't have one, C:\program files\black sea studios\knights of honor\koh.exe
It probably won't work, but maybe there's something wrong with autoplay. It happened to me with other games.

Oh, I didn't mean that the dxdiag thing didn't work, that worked fine. But I meant just that all the other stuff wasn't working. And I tried that too, the whole autoplay not working thing. I went in and clicked it....still didn't work.

Did you start KoH.exe /c already (or the shortcut to "Configure Knights of Honor" in your start menu)?
