Hi i have a problem trying to do multiplayer over a LAN network thingy. I started a game but it will not show up on the other PCs LAN lobby place. Iv checked firewall and stuff, ive tried using IP address, so i dont think its got anything to do with that. I recently installed KOH on one of the PCs and have given it the most up to date patch but the numberis version 1.02 while the older PC have patch 1.03. I made sure i gave them both the same patch but they both said they were up to date. Its very strange and annoying and i dont think theres any reason why the games shouldn't show up regardless of the patch.
If anybody has an idea i would br grateful as i am much looking forward to playing multiplayer King of Towers and whatnot.

In all logic the game really should work, can anyone shed some light on perhaps somthing iv missed out. Btw is it me or is the techical help side of this forum sorta dead?

Well, it's not really dead, but mostly *unanswered* means *unknown*. I wouldn't know a solution to this either..my multiplayer has never worked yet either.

If it doesn't show up, KoH doesn't receive information, probably. That'd point to a firewall/router problem (or XP integrated firewall or hardware firewall).

Did you reinstall KoH on the PC that won't patch to 1.03 correctly? If you did so then that is the reason why it won't patch correctly. You will have to reinstall KoH on that PC using the following procedure:
1. Uninstall KoH.
2. Remove the remainders (yes, there are still files left!) of the KoH folder manually (your savegames won't get lost).
3. Install KoH.
4. Patch KoH.

That should work.
