On the other hand, sexual preferences aren't really something for a massive multiplayer online roleplaying game. Nor politics. Let's keep the real world in the real world I'd say.

But WoW is full of real world topic like politics. And all this is okay, but suddenly this glbt-guild is guilty of harassment?
I honestly can't understand blizzard's position. Are women guilty for being harassed?

I can understand that it could possibly lead to unwanted conversations, possibly harassment. I hope they did not allow for political guilds then either? Otherwise they're just a bunch of doublethinkers. And how much real world politics can you put into a fantasy game? I can't agree wiht you there.

Such games even have guilds with purely political background. Like devoted members of a political party trying to get other players to vote for their party. As the article states there are even several other glbt-guilds in WoW, but the others are tollerated for some reason. Perhaps the advertising triggered the reaction. But other equally or more real-life-centered guilds advertise too.
Yes, pure double-thinking. That's why I don't like it.

Someone might have reported them as offensive? Then Bliz would be force to act, but I don't know...
