Hi, I just had the game last week and enjoy it very much. I have a question about ressources: are the ressources cumulative (like in Civilization IV) or do I need just one building (provinding the ressource, like stables for horses etc..) in one city to obtain the ressource for the whole empire (like is it worth to have two stables in two provinces with horses). Thanks

Depends what you mean by "resources".

If you are referring to a province's workers, food, book, piety, happiness, and gold "resources", then "YES", each additional building adds to that province's resource count.

If you are referring to the Products produced by certain buildings, for example, a Tanner produces Leather. You really only need one of those in your kingdom. Any more than that is a waste of a slot in a town.

However, there are other "product-buildings" I build in every province I can:
-Hunting Lodges give a gold bonus, in addition to the Hide product
-Wineries give a happiness bonus, in addition to Wine
-In provinces with Quarries, I only build the advanced building that gives the happiness bonus, unless there is a fishery in the province too, in which case I build both.

In general, I find the ones you have to watch out for are:
-Wool, Leather, one of the Advanced Stone buildings, Ink (no need if no Scribe) and/or Dye (no need if no Tailor/Merchant), Honey and Wax, Rigging (no need if no coastal village)

A strategy you might use is to build some of the buildings that give worker bonuses early on, and then replace them with something else when the city is larger. For example:
-a stable gives a +2 worker bonus
-a stud farm gives a +1 worker bonus
-a ax workshop gives +1 worker bonus

You might consider building all 3 buildings, and then when you've run out of slots in the town, delete the ax building and replace it with something more useful, and then delete the stud farm (assuming you have another one somewhere else), and replace it as well.

You only need one Stud Farm to produce horses for your kingdom, but each province will need Stables in order to house the horses produced by the Stud Farm.
