Stalled at the Ruins!

I am through the forest outside the "Ruins", I have taken out the levitating device that throw the nuts, fireballs, stones,.......whatever they throw. By the healing well I have found a lever that deactivates a mana shield, but by the time I get to the area the shield is back up, I have tried the speed boots, no luck, I have tried to find a path onto the upper wall section past the crates, no luck. What is needed at this point to get past the mana shield?
I tried the search function here but found no references, has no one else had this problem?

Pay attention not to get hit by the lasers. If you get hit by a laser, the mana shield appears again.

Thanks Goku! I finally figured that out, it took me long enough though! I have now rescued Talis and am inside Taros Vinta, those critters that breathe skull shaped vapors at you are bad business. I still have not found a quick and efficient way of dispatching them.

I froze them and then hit them. But it´s certainly not the quickest way.

I hit them with a vortex and then tried to dodge their attacks while attacking them from the side with the battle axe. Maybe not the best way, but it got it done.
