United but vote against??

In my game I am by far the most powerful empire. I have spent a lot of money to improve relations with the other kingdoms. However I noticed that when an election occur, even the guys who have a "united" or "harmonious" relationship with me are voting against me :bash: Anybody noticed that?

Next time a vote takes place, hover your mouse over each king's face as he's about to vote. Between the two most powerful kings will appear the factors (pros and cons) that the voting king uses to decide how to cast his vote.

Is he your vassal? Your ally? Good relationship? How big is your kingdom? Are you the same religion? How powerful is your army? Are you at war? etc.

All these factors and more are taken into account by each voting King.
