View Full Version : Forum not as active as before?
Remember those old times a?
Too quite now...:nono:
It's the nice weather^^
I think that when Paraworld is released or the Anno 1701 forums opened will be more people here.
What would you have thought if you had shown up 3 weeks ago?
They are a bit more lively than they were then.

Definitely! Damn, there are 30 active members here in this moment! Quite a change for such a time...

but who is posting?
KoH forum is dead from obvious reasons...
and most of people who used to post here are left (consider me to be included among them)
but it seems that people are interested in new Sunflowers' games... for how long? KoH survived for quite long time with no support, we'll see how long will Paraworld survive
Yes, there's a torrent of new members - and active members. All are bèta-testers I guess, for they're not posting or looking in normal forums.
KoH forums are pretty much deserted..
I don't see any single reason why they shouldn't be

Yep...those days were great!
do the old members who haven't been active here for some long time simply disapear or do they remain here somehow?
it seems like some old guys I remember from old times have disappeared and some have been replaced by somebody else
Dunno. Maybe they check in here once in a while, without posting
But as i'm 'rather' new to this forum I can't really tell
no, I can't even find them in members search...
All users who haven't logged in within 365 days are not shown in the memberlist: http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?t=6166

Yeah, it's a bummer! I asked a while back if there was any way to search the inactive member list, but got no satisfactory response.
Is there someone in particular you are looking for?

timurlenk, for example.
I guess all of those who remember the friendly atmosphere before the release of KoH must remember timurlenk and our allied fight for Holy Roman Empire :swordfigh
I remember timurlenk! I will help you find his profile!

I already did.
I had to scroll down and find the thread where we fought for Holy Roman Empire and then saw him.
It's strange, he has over 500 posts and isn't in members' list.
But when I open a thread where he used to post he looks like normal active user.
so, shouldn't he get some status like "inactive user" but be visible in the members' list?
You would think they would change their status to Inactive Member instead of leaving it as Registered User.
I remember earlier this year when they placed everyone with no activity within the past year on an inactive list, removing them from the searchable list.
Henrik is still on the searchable list and he has been inactive for 409 days now, which is more than 1 year. But I think they only move people to the inactive list periodically, I don't think they have anything that automatically switches folks to inactive list when their inactivity extends beyond a year.
really? I don't remember that.
But now it's impossible to find them as there is no list of inactive users..
btw.
the number of members is still growing. Are those inactive and almost invisible members counted? if yes so they should be somehow possible to be found (except scrolling down 30 pages to find the thread where I remember him posting)
I thought:
when some member is inactive for over a year, automaticaly, instead of moving from the visible members' list he would either get status "inactive user" and stay in the list or become a member of inactive members' list
just an idea
This is the thread announcing their intentions concerning inactivity and what little discussion resulted (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?t=6166)
