View Full Version : good map size :)
Hold your horses! I am not good in this measuring system. Which one you mean?:
a) 40+ minutes for one slowest/fastest unit to move to all 4 corners?
b) 40+ min for one slowest/fastest unit to move one corner the other at diagonal?
c) same as above but vertical/horizontal?

If you're army is in constantinople and you need them in France you don't deserve to be king... whoever's marching on france deserves to be king! :)
Seriously that would take months of travel in the middle ages... and a lot of planning just to supply them on the move- buy food for ships or wagon train it? How to pay for it- bank account through the fugar's (or medici?) or cash at hand supplied to the commander... all those things mean it SHOULD take time to move your men.
Your damn right!
For me it could take 2 hours to get from byzant to france.
Or more!
That is just what I was looking for! A realistic game!
Please hurry up dear developers -
Iīm getting bored with MTW-VI!
 cheers

c) same as above but vertical/horizontal? You probably haven't red the beggining of the thread where is mentioned that march from Lisbon to Moscow took 26 minutes, after some changes it took 40 minutes. March prbably means march of whole army, so cavalry and infantry moving together...

A little guess about the lack of an MP-Campaign:
With such big games like KoH it's really hard to keep about 8 computers in sync. Read the Sunflowers-announcement about the cancel of the Anno1503-MP-patch if you are interested in more informations.
This was just a hint and really nothing to be taken serious, so please don't reply on this post. ;)

Hi again!
Is it true? Have I missed something?
Please donīt tell me you canīt play the campaign as a multiplayergame?!?!?! PLEASE!!;(
That would take a lot of the game!
It wouldnīt make it a bad game, but I donīt think that battlesystem is the strength of KoH!
So why take this part for the multiplayer?
I was allways said, that the Total War Series wasnīt with a campaignmultiplayer.
So am I right, or am I mistaken?

It's written in the FAQ and various thread here on the forum:
KoH's multiplayer doesn't feature World-Conquer-Campaign!
KoH's multiplayer is about CloseView-battles. Two armies, two leaders, one winner. The end.
Today's technology makes it very hard to implement such big multiplayer-modes as WorldConquer-Mode.
(I'm still curious how the guys from EUII managed to let up to 14 people (!!!) play stable on one server)

I heard about "Europa Universalis"!
Is it good? I heard there is a mod which makes the game even better!!?!
;( Thats very dissapointing!!!!
How can the guys from Creative Assembly even make a multiplayercampaign possible in 3D?
Maybe by using a fog of war?

How can be time more important than "A good seller"?
A lot of games come a lot later then they where anounced!!!
It would be a real good reason to bring out the game 3 months later!!!!
And I think the most people here would agree and wait with me?!?!
Donīt you? All you out there?!?!
Make a multiplayercampaign and all of us will bow before you.
You could make it as the best strategic game of the year!!!
What do I say - of the decade!!!
Maybe the best strategic multiplayergame for years!!!!!
Oh please think over again and bring out a multiplayercampaign!!

3 month? You're joking!
2-3 years would be more precise.

It's a nice thought but i'd prefer they bring out an expansion pack with multiplayer campain and other stuff a little later, I think they should release when planned....then later add the cool stuff, like multiplayer campain, more equipment, buildings, weather features, longer techtree or skill tree, etc...

I canīt agree with that!
How can games like warlords III be able to have a multiplayercampaign?
Even when those have a worse graphic-engine.
They could make the campaign together and when its time for battle, all players stop and are able to watch the battle.
When it would take two or three years, we would have a chance to play stronghold2!!!
