Hi, Just curious..
1. Can Human units(& mechanical units) be placed on the castle to defend against Incoming enemy?
(I just thought it would be so cool if u can place some human units ON the castle to fight enemies trying to enter by ladders, etc. I saw preview of another medieval strategy game and they had some great castle seize actions with ladder climbing and fight ON the castle that looked so cool, like watching Lord of the Ring. Frankly im tired of most strategy games with Passive castles sitting like a wall with boring guard towers...)
2. What would be min. Graphic card requirement?
(I have a laptop and i think most laptops have only 16mb of graphics memory(even though processor may be P4 1G+). I hope it can run also on that since many laptops have poor graphics card. )
thanks in advance for reply.
game looks great, can't wait till release.

Military Units, almost wherever you want. Of course no cavalry. You can also put catapults on drum towers but they are fixed and cant be moved later on. Also you can put oil cauldrons on the gates.

A 16 MB videocard will be fine.
as i said many times in this forum: the game looks great without being a resource eater.

Hi,
I have S3 Graphics's Prosavage DDR 16mb graphics card. Would KOH support this fully?
(I know there were some problems w/ RON w/ many integrated graphics cards which many laptops have. Hopefully, same doesnt happen w/ KOH so we can play it on laptop too)
thanks

Is this card supported by DirectX 8.x ?
i think the hardware requirements of KoH are not asking for too much :)

afaik, the name drum tower really comes from drums. similar to a bell tower. but im not sure.
searching at google i found an old gaelic word "druim", which means hill or ridge. so maybe drum tower comes from "tower on a hill"?
also there is a "drum castle" in scotland, so maybe...
edit:
any scots out there?
