yeah actually it would be nice if u could play has the pirates i think by doing so u get a diffrent point view of gameplay, and allso i would allso like to point out that would there be more battle ships to choose instead of just the 3 types , i think how much choice makes the game alot better in that u can create large battles from building less of the smaller ships . im looking forword to anno 1701 , after the graphics ive seen have allready impressed me , and of course its smooth and crisp game play but then again we have to wait and find out , thanxs ben

My biggest wish is to co-operate in making sections in another languages, what I mentioned in email to sunflowers :].


But except this - Anno 1701 Official should have the simillary amount of informations as AD1503 site have; so:
- "overview" screens, chain productions/tribes screens, screen of the week
- gif's presenting buildings and units (especially those totaly new :])

and also:
- frequent updates of trailers, in-game movies, units animations
- separate arcticle for game features and comparison to prequels
- something about the common things between in-game realities and history, architecture (as I hope classicism style)
- I think some of us will be delighted to read a bit about the plot of scenarios

It's not that helpfull to name a forum "Singleplayer" if there are several games that match this topic, isn't it? What about "Singleplayer [1701]", "Singleplayer [KoH]" and so on?

Designating 1701 or KoH or... would be overkill. The forums are titled

ANNO 1701
ParaWorld
Knights of Honor
Classics / Klassiker (subdivided into ANNO 1503 , ANNO 1602 , TechnoMage)
Off Topic / Am Thema vorbei

If the forum "Singleplayer" is sub-forum underneath ANNO 1701, then you know it is for 1701, if the "Singleplayer" is listed as sub-forum underneath Knights of Honor then it is for Knights of Honor. So forth and so on.

Why would someone that was looking in the Paraworld forum see a singleplayer section and think it was singleplayer for 1701 , KoH or 1602 or .....? When I am searching the forum's I know which game section I am in and understand that all subsections are for that game.

if you look in the userlist or via the new post button it's not clear anymore.
so i changed it. maybe a plugin can split the names in the forumslist (simple list) and searchmode (complex list)

Sorry, no. Most of us are entering the forum via "New Posts" - you'll get a list which displays just "Singleplayer" wihtout any hint if it's for 1701, KoH or whatever...

Maybe it could be a solution to sort the list otherwise than now (at present, it is only sorted by time): first by board, then by time of last posting.

Maybe you have it with mod rights, my view is limited and does NOT have any information on which game a forum/thread belongs to...

Just saw a plug in at the CDV-Board that allows users to exclude specific forums from 'Get New Posts' in their control panel. Unfortunatly there's no link or info on how to implement it, but probably someone knows where to get it? Would really be nice to have :biggrin:
