Should mercenaries be controled like the regulary troops or not?

they will follow every word i say or i will excute those basterds my self i will make its slow and pain full. im paying them gold not **** so i will excute every 1 of them . they are soldiers that i pay gold to.not some normal soldier they supose to be smarter stronger and have more abilitys. so if they are lazy im going to put an 20meters pole in ther *** and after a week burn them.or put a spear in the mouth and then get an hatchet and hack on them 24 hours
