Size of Armies

So how big can the armies get on this game (I mean how many units can be on screen at a time and how many can each player control, will we be seeing huge battles with 5000+ units fighting or only small groups as seen in the gameplay trailor?) and will it automatically drop for each player playing on a Online/LAN game. (Like LOTR:Battle for Middle Earth II where it would take off about 200 command points for each player).
