Fortified Camps?

Ive seen a number of screenshots of armies in fotified areas but I think I read this has been removed. Does this mean I can no longer fortify an encampment in a mountain pass or at a strategically important location or resource?

Troops are still able to set up a camp ( I think they do the very moment you tell an army to stay where it is ).

It is still there, you can camp and fortify...

The difference is that fortification takes time...
