Forum in English

Now before anyone starts to pick on me - please read the post !

I think that's it's okay that there is also a German language forum, but i would be happy if they could somehow seperate the two, so when i push View New Posts (http://forum.sunflowers.de/search.php?s=&action=getnew) to check for new threads, i dont get a lot of theads in German among the search results, because i simply don't understand them :blush:

I'm not hoping that i step on someone feelings here - but it's just my MHO...

Well, it sorta matter to me ( and quite possibly also to others )..... IMO it's quite annoying the way it is now...

yes i agree, it's hard to read what threads are english, no offence to the german population.

We would never have had this problem if the German forum wasn't mixed up with "ours"

I must admit that i do feel kinda sad to to continue this thread, but it IS really annoying IMO

I think if I wouldn't understand German I would maybe be unhappy too...

Is it really so hard to see which treads are german? I didn't thought that, but I can't know it because I understand German...

I guess they should rename the german forum to "Native-speakers-forum" so everyone who has insufficient skills in english can write there...

Nice to know that you're trying your best to help us on this issue Frank :go:

If it's not possible to seperate the two forum then who not make right ie. When users come to the frontpage of the forum they should have an ability to chose whether they would visit the German speaking forum or the English/American speaking forum - this would, in the worst case senario, mean that you would need a licens for two sites - but i know that these licens are CHEAP ! - then we could bury this issue once and for all and get back to the fun stuff.

That both forums are on the same page is wanted by us. But I understood you dislike when you search and german threads pop up?

Some people here (not including me, but Henrik etc.) are using the 'new posts'-feature in this forum. And this doesn't distinct between the languages. So henrik might click 'New posts' and ends up in the german offtopic...
This, of course, is only sensefull if your '?' wasn't a typ0... ;)

You mean those like "Cover" and "Release..."? They are part of the German language, well gamer language I would say.
