On the screenshots the water looks a bit boring...
So my question:
Will there be an option to have the water animated with several textures etc. to have some eye-candy for the user?
[ I know that I shouldn't ask something like this when I've only seen static pictures of KoH, but I want to make sure that we get some cool water ;) ]

I think the water is animated - just look at the interactive map ie. the waterfalls, so i'm sure that the rest of the water aren't static.

Somewhere Fruijn also said, that there will be fishs, dolphins and whales in the ses, so I would say there will be life in the sea... :)

Yes the water will be animated, hard to capture it on a screenshot :)
In close view will be also waves.

Whales? Can't remember that middleage people knew creatures like Whales?

That doesn't mean that whales didn't exist. So why not put them in?
Whales in Mediteranean? Not realistic ... but definitely looks cool :)
And don't forget sea-serpents, mermaids and giant octopussies.

Hm,I've never seen GOOD water in games, because REAL water is the most difficult to draw and animate,I guess.:)I know.

But you can still do some fancy stuff with multiple textures etc ;) .

Why waste precious resources animating water.
Good looking babes on the beaches is what we need :)

I didn't said water in KoH is not good, it seems will BE good.
Water efects looks great in close wiew, but I cannot say it is good in further wiew. But water in close wiew is mainly, map from distance don't need very detailed wiew, IMO. :)

I'll agree with you Heretic - i think the "nice" details in the graphic should be saved for close view.
