Will the features in the add-on (that wasn't available in the U.S.) be incorporated into 1701? For example, there's a screen shot on the 1503 site with a line graph which appears to depict stock levels. That would be great for each warehouse to see if levels are being maintained, increasing etc. I've been a fan since 1602, but we seem to get screwed here in the states when it comes to superb international games and there add-ons.
We are looking at a whole new and different puppy when it comes to 1701. An even better system of tracking information about all aspects of your population has been developed. As stated before here at the forum, 1701 will resemble 1602 in more ways than it does 1503.
you can say it is anno old school stype.. right? =)
just as long as over half of the game is about building.. not war.. i hated 1503 cause of the war... damn war.. it KILLS people!!

"damn war.. it KILLS people!!"
yes, in reality. but in games it is the best fun you can get. anno without war is not anno.
i'm sure: more than 30%(50%?) of customers play anno because of ability of war.
these players are important for economic success of such a "building" game. in my opinion, that's the reason why games like "children of the nil" and "römer" (don't know international name) didn't succeed. both games have no playable military part and no multiplay. there are too less players like you, who don't like war in games, to sell enough copies of such a game.
