Castel siege...

Hi every one dear Lords!

Another question: what about castel siege? It will be only a distruction of a building (a particular one but only another building) or we can defend it and managing the defense using the army in the Castle (moving troups from one wall to another , from one tower to another)? I mean, is like MTW or something different like AoE II ,where castle is only a building shooting arrows from walls and towers?

Looking at scrshots it seems that it's likly the second one....but the hope is the last to die! :D

Good question.

First, there are two ways how to get the city/castle (in KoH it's capital of certain realm and it's called town)
1. siege-it happen in worldview and purpouse is tomake besieged army surrender of hunger, but you must take care of your own army feeding. Siege is with no military actions, just an army lay under the town walls and wait untill surrender. But during siege, some military actions can happen:

2.assault or counter-assault. When the siege s too long for one of sides and it's necessery to end it quickly they can attack other side. Then the game turns to CloseView and battle takes place. In this assault you can stand your soldiers on walls and defend it. YOu can also place catapults or oil cauldrons to special places to weaken attacking army which can use catapults, trebuchers, rams etc alongside with "normal" soldiers
