Crossbowmen Question

thats kinda what I meant by the question. I thought crossbows were more widely used across Europe than what is listed as the places you can train them at.

Only if Teutonic Order is holding some lands in Italy or Swiss. ;)

Perhaps we should be able to reinforce our army with "Merchenary-Squads" which are extremly expensive, but can consist of units we normally wouldn't be able to recruit in that realm.
They should take some extra-time to be recruited and suffer a morale-bonus, so they are just a gimnick for players who want those crossbowmen badly.
