Oh, yeah. Those were visions of people with big fear. Evil and Goodness lives in each human being. Sometimes can happen something what change the balance significantly, then that "man" turn to be ruled by the devil/devil's sons demons.

they are not visions and will never be .i have studyd many relgions and found out that they live among uss but you cant see them they show ther selfs only ween your alone and no 1will belive you then. and if some 1 think like this=i havent see 1 so i dont belivie in demons thats kind of silly because if they showed thereselfs to humans .all the goverments of the world would try to kill the evil demons but i dont think nuclear power would work.

I will ask, Do you believe in Angels? Now before you answer that one, stop and think, Do I really believe in Angels? If your answer is yes, then, How can you say that you do not believe in Demons?
Demons are fallen Angels, cast out of Heaven.

Knightly sword: If it was the way you said, how could those demons, which are fallen angels, exist? You said angels can't fail. That implies that there are no fallen angels. And following the above statements there are no demons.

Yes, Angels were created to be God's subjects to carry out his bidding. The most beautiful of all was the one we now refer to as Satan(Lucifer edited out), who after a period of time decided He wanted to be Lord of Heaven and persuaded 1/3 of the Angels to join him in an attempt to overthrow GOD. This of course failed and GOD had Satan and all those that sided with him(I refer to them as fallen Angels) cast from Heaven. Ever since they(Satan and the fallen Angels[Demons] have been at war against Heaven, trying to persuade mankind to not follow GOD.

no no lucifer never wanned to be god (even mighty angels have limted powers and ther powers can never be weight with god,s power and lucfier never had powers to creat) he was a creature what is now demon or devil.and all the other demons joined him and ther mission is to destruct the humanity because god made it . and the most of uss humans has weak minds that demons can preusade. (infact ther is creatures we havent discoverd yet you never know)

It was only because of Arch Angel Gabriel stood by god, and saved the day (that damn mammas boy). Else god wold have been overthrown.

The using of Lucifer to describe Satan or the Devil is kind of an oxy-moron in my belief. Why, Because God is Lucifer if you look at what the original translation of the Old Testament. Lucifer means first light or morning star according to the First testament which is exactly what God/Jesus is.

I honestly have no idea where and when the name Lucifer morphed into "evil." I guess it's one of those things that only religion can evoke and yet explain at the same time.

As far as how can angels be “bad” considering they are pure is simple. Angels, like man, were created by God and have their own personalities and are not mindless drones that do as they are told. Some Angels do and will fall from grace but unlike man they were made into grace where as we have to gain grace.

I don't know why I used the name Lucifer, other than it is a name given by man to Satan. The Bible does not call him Lucifer as far as I have been able to find. But I do know that Satan was created by God and was an Angel and that he was very beautiful and very beguiling. In the book of Revelation it states that he swept a third of the stars out of the heavens with his tail and made war in Heaven. The third of the stars symbolizes the third of the Angels that sided with him in this war. And HexHAmmer the Arch Angel is not Gabriel. Gabriel is always mentioned as a messenger from God, he is the horn blower or trumpeter. Michael is the Arch Angel of God and was the one that defeated Satan in that war w2hen Satan and his followers were cast from Heaven down to Earth. Satan now reigns as Prince of the World. His main purpose now is to deceive mankind and separate man from God's grace.

dobber the thing is that god can never be defeated . he dont need angels in war he can burn down all evilness in 1 second but he dont. first off all do you reallly think the angel can defeat his OWN MASTER.you dont understand that god the almighty can never be defeated. even if the devil gets with him 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000 of angels he cant deafet god

OK, a theological argue. Pointless, but I'll say something, too.

Satan can't defeat God, as the knightly sword said. He is a creature. Created by God. And, yes, angels can be bad, too. Satan is an angel. The mightiest creature. But not almighty. That's my opinion - I don't have time to say why.

But I have a question: What are you arguing for? Does it matter what's the real name of Satan/Lucifer/Beelzebul/Baal/Diablo etc. Are you gonna change something? Or you just want to make things clear? If so - use arguments!

@The_Knightly_Sword - I never said Satan could defeat God, and all I was trying to do was to explain why I believe there are demons in the world, and trying to point out that if you believe in Angels, you should also believe in Demons. Therefore explaining where demons came from, basing it on the passage from the Bible in Revelations chapter 12, specifically verse 9 and following.

Sorry if anyone has been offended by any of this and I will pursue it no further. After all why should I care if people believe in demons or not.:D

Demons? This thread turned to "Opinions about God and Satan"...:D
One I know: God is The Mystic Energy,Creator of the World and Eternity,angels-I call them another names, but this is not a thread about Religion creeds;demons-the Power of Destruction, but not a typical "devils" with horns and wings. The same opinion about angels-not "a good guy with feathered wings"like catholics believe,no.Maybe all Mystic Powers, which lives in Nature and etc.I think.
There are equipoise between Good and Bad Energies, but the Bad Energy never overrule, because the Good Energy is stronger bla bla bla.
The End:)
