( john your wrong . on the vietnam war it was a suprior weapon . many us soldiers preferd it over m16s. still people use it in many countrys. the m16 isnt among the poupuleriest weapons like ak47. ak47 makes super sonic sounds that distract snipers and aim shoots. well about the m16 its still used but litterly in small numbers , the us military some soldiers do use it but mostly in fast
