Thx! I'll translate the rest of the part as soon as I get cable Inet.
I won't use authors opinions or stats they gave due my respect for the people who wrote the article, and generally it's all about the info on the current stage of game development, so I guess they won't mind.
To all the Bulgarians here - buy the magazine, you'll get more of the article plus the really great screenshots ;) !
yeah, I keep rereading it :) It's great that you started the topic. I think now E3 will give us what we reaaly want :bday:  !
i'm looking forward to read it !
10x, Krum! I really don't have time to translate - the end of the school year is coming and I'm in a financial tournament...
PS. 10x also for starting the thread. I didn't knew about the article (I usually don't buy GW) but I bought it especially for that.

No problems maties! The pleasure is all mine!
So here I go as promised with the note that I may cover some material that you have known for a while- and my deepest appology for it:
As I said hunger will be a mojor deal when invading and it will drop morale instead of health, but this is also vital. So IMO if you're equipped to stand a long siege at one point you can go on defeating your opponent no matter what force he's gathered in front of your castle (capital). The city has 50 buildings total, and they are organized in a tech tree - for those of you who don't know certain buildings have a prerequisite one. You can have up to 18 buildings in the production queue. The buildings are divided in types - for instance economical and warfare buildings. Thus you can specialize your city to have a great defense or be weak, but highly productive. The defensive strength of the castles would not depend on the city level, but on it's defensive buildings.
We now jump on to nobility. As you most probably know you have King, Marshall, Farmer, Merchant, Spy and a Royal Cleric. The King has certain dimplomatic skills, as well as such in economy, warfare, religious and spy ones. He can't be replaced at this stage (well unless you get a rebellion and it would be interesting, but I'm not sure on this gossip), still he can be selected as a knight. When he leads an army they have incredibly large morale. If he dies with no heir you can choose among your 9 nobles (9 being the largest number available in the game).
Marshall - he gets his expirience leading an army in battles. he has 20 skills each having 3 upgrades. For instance, you have Leadership to increase the morale of your troops, or Siegecraft - to bring faster enemy castles down, Logistic - faster movement of the army, etc. Still you can choose to develop only 6 skills which brings the pleasure of having different Marshalls for different players if well balanced (unlike in Heroes of MM).
Then we have a Constructor- he doesn't have special skills, but when appointed governor you rise buildings faster in that province. His top level is 5.
Farmer - similar to the previous one, but rises crops and cattle faster in a province, given the fact that he and the Constructor rise to level only when they are governors for long, and not by any other means.
Merchant - he can also be appointed governor, but then would be able to command only the import and export of Vluables in a certain province. These Valuables when produced in one realm would make the inhabitants happier. Still in order to have such products you need to pass certain stages of development. And then these valuables would give certain bonuses such as Iron giving better equipment, Honey - happiness, etc. But the major deal is to get to Kingdom Advantages - one perfect example being Tree of Life which increases the population of your state :) . You need 4 resources in order to achieve this one - Horses, Statues, Collumns and Amber. However, you can produce only two of them and in order to gather the whole set you get the Merchant buying them.
The next is the Spy- you have all heard about him. When inserted among enemy troops, he can be chosen as a knight there, then for example he can be involved in you stealing the opponents army. You all know about the chance of him getting to be a king of a foreign land, so I won't emphasize on this. Furthermore, we have another cool option, your Spy can turn out to be a Double Agent :D or he may act as a Counter Spy when at your castle. When one Spy is captured you may exchange him or let him rot in jail. Now in this magazine they mention that your spy has even theoretical option to become a Pope, but I have no further info on this issue.
Cleric - Well when you conquer enemy state, he may help you bring down the nationalism in that realm faster, and thus avoid rebellions. He can also turn the official belief in one invaded country. I have discussed him in another post, so I have my period here on nobles.
Cash, Money, ugh ugh...
The main income is from trade and taxes (reasonable), but there is a chance that you make one realm a vassal of yours and gather like half of it's early income.
Battles - they can be lead by the pc, or to lead the battle himself, or try to run away. Morale is vital, but what is discussed in the article is also present here in these forums. Now the interesting thing is when archers spot cavalry charging their morale will drop and they will scatter. Now I wonder if the archers take position in the woods, it should be the opposite, or at the least mounted units should take penalty when charging hills or forests. Next you posses the so called elite forces who will battle to extinction, so here morale is not so big of a deal.
Another great option in my mind is that you can chose how the Time will flow in the game. The player has to select among two options: Normal and Hardcore. While In Normal mode when you enter a battle, the whole world is at stand by. This means you can lead 3-4 battles that occur to be at the same time. While in the other mode, you have to choose among the battles and let the rest be played by your computer.
Next issue is diplomacy. You have to be accepted by the King you want to get involved, and then you gather info on him, his character, whether he gets fast angry, or is too selfish, etc. You can send gifts in order to achieve your goals... You can even give away a province. Marriage is also optional. For example, your son might get to be the heir of his throne (if there are no other princes there), and the authour's opinion is that such royals will be extremely loyal to your cause.
Inflation - I love this concept, for all of you it's a known disaster, so I won't discuss it.
That's it I hope you liked it or at the least I presented you with some new game info.
yeahh, thanks a lot Khan Krum :) - there was really a lot of info in you post IMO.
