Please post here only if your problem doesn't fit into any of the other threads/categories.
What we'd like to know/have:
When exactly did the problem occur? Can it be reproduced?
Was there any kind of error message? In that case, post it or provide a screenshot if possible.
What kind of hardware and drivers are you running? The easiest way would be attaching your DXDiag info to your post. In case you don't know how to get ahold of this information: Windows Start menu -> Run -> enter dxdiag and confirm -> let the tool run and then choose Save All Information.
Theres a ridiculous bug with this game that is easily produced.
Skirmish/MP mode, if you increase the HP of your units, and decrease the AI HP, it WONKS up everything.. Sometimes you end up with only 50hp on your workers, and WAY less hp on combat units.
Basically, the entire HP adjustment system is pretty borked. Easily reproducible, just remove fog of war and check.

Another bug..
Randomly, the game "Destroys" the settings files.. Yes, I purchased the game, but I would say every other day I have to re-enter the CDKey and fix the damn settings file.
Even setting it to "Read only" doesn't fix the problem.. If I had to guess, I would think it is some lameness with the copy protection going on.
Hello!For my birthday my mother buy paraworld to me but she was in italy for his work and she think the game has language selection but no...So have you got a solution to change the language italian->french?Modify a command...Something?

I have some trubles with Tages Potection:
1. Disk cant be identified as origianl :bash:
2. My USB devices (mice, keyboard) stop working. Have to use ps/2 ones. More precisely when i have them attached to my rig there is BSOD upon starting the game.
In case of the mouse - sounds more like a mouse driver problem. Did you use the original drivers provided by the manufacturer?
As for Tages - please install this driver update (http://www.tagesprotection.com/main.htm?page=5.5.htm) and check if it still has a tough time recognizing your disc.
@zeak88 - unfortunately, that's not possible with the Italian version of the game. :(

I have a "creative sb live!" card that hasnt given me any problem till now.
Hmm ... I remember that we had some problems with that soundcard with wiggles / diggles some years ago. You could try do deactivate the hardware accaleration of the soundcard in the menu of the soundcard.
I tried it:
it was set to basic acceleration due to the same problem with age of empires ( and worked)
, then i tried to disable completely - still doesnt work and now i set it to the last level - high.
nothing seems to work.

Just to make sure i went to creative home page and:
my sound card is
Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Digital (Dell), DR release 1.1.3
and its drivers are up-to-date

I have a very tiresome problem with PW :sad: .
I'm using an integrated Realtek ALC650 soundcard and a few minutes after I start the game the sound is going to crucnh :confused: .
The card works perfect till now. Any ideas ? :scratch:

1. Check if there are any newer drivers available. First places to check would be the homepages of the company that manufactured your motherboard or Realtek.
2. Also check another setup of your chip - System Properties -> Sounds & Audio Devices -> Audio -> Advanced -> System Performance. There is a 'Hardware Acceleration' slider. Move the slider to the left ( = disable hardware acceleration) and check out if the problem still occurs in the game then.

I have an HP with an Intel Integrated Graphics card, and the gameplay lags like it is being played on an old laptop. The opening movie works perfectly, but right when I start any kind of level i.e. single player or multiplayer, the game lags and is very choppy.
I think I just need a new driver. If it is the driver, can anyone tell me which one I need. I went to Intel's site and downloaded the latest one and it still doesn't work right.

In the mission when you first encounter a warp gate and are advised to destory it. If you Attempt to destory it before you destroy the outpost. The game will freeze. I have been able to reproduce this 100% of the time. the characters will stand still and you cannot save nor load.
In the mission where you rescue some kidnapped people and have to destroy the outposts. I scouted the entire area and could not find any enemies. Yet the mission was not completed. the sub quest to destroy them.
Also . what is up with them raiding you, over and over with heavey cavelry. I have it on easy and whenever i create an army so i can go scouting. I get barraged over and over.
could you please attach a savegame to this thread so our programmers can just load it to see the bug without having to play to that state? that would be great :)

The game was working for about two weeks until today. When I try to start it a gray rectangle pops up like it's about to start but then it just closes without actually starting up. I restarted my computer and also uninstalled and reinstalled paraworld but the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i'd love to. But then i'd have to play to get to there again. I figured out that if you destroy the base first then attack the warp gate. it works. otherwise it freezes. i'll try an play it again an get to that area. Any chance of cheat codes?
