We talk a lot about the trebuchet and how it can destroy a wall, but we havenøt discussed the trebuchets rate of fire ! - it ougt to take a while to reload these "beasts" IMO

Yeah, ageed they should have a slow rate of fire.

And I hope that Balista's rate of fire is not like a Machine gun?.
{in Stronghold spearmen got mowed down pretty fast}

btw; Frank quick question,
For multi-play is each Computer requirred to have a KOH-CD:ie can LAN games share a CD

Let me also to point out that breaking walls do not happen that fast. Also to carry a Trebuchet you need a marshall with a fully developed skill for doing that.

And also for this
"Disadvantages: Once deployed it cannot be moved to another location before the end of the battle"
:go:

Those things and and the limit for siege equipment in an army makes me relax and rest assure that there won't be any kind of Trebuchet RUSH like in AOK2. It was like if planning and building defenses were almost useless.
And here in KOH would have made castle defenses and other assault methods almost obsolet! Don't you think?

It seems that you will have to think a little where and when use those big boys.

hehe, would add a medieval siege flavor to the game, wouldn't it?
(well, another one :D! (siege flavor)).

Yes they have a low fire rate, same goes for Ballista and Catapult. But Trebuchet has the lowest.

That''s only fair for such a powerfull weapon IMO

btw, what is the trebuchet's range of fire ie. do i need to be close or will i be able to fire it from a "safe" distance out of range from the castles own ranged defence ? because on a few of the screenshots, the trebuchet seems to be very close to the castle !

I know this is not possible with walls but can your people during a battle, try to reinforce the door from battering ram impacts?
