View Full Version : Conquer Lands ?????
If you're Land is like for example flanders and you whant to take SPAIN in, Must you first conquer over france to take spain. Or can you as ally with france send youre troops true france at direction spain?????

No really, I don't see a reason why you wouldn't be able to do that. Perhaps one of the devs would be kind to confirm it in word or two. :)
I also think there is nothing what can stop you if you'll have army strong enough to conquere some parts of Spain. If you are allied with France, you can march through french territory, you can also board a ship and sail to Spain, and then conquer it :)

You can ally with France and pass their lands. However, if are not you can even try to pass their lands and hoping not to make France angry against you. If your relation is not totally screwed, France may send you first some warnings before doing actions.

Hello!
I think it is possible to conquer Spain doing a alliance with France and sending through their land your troops .
You could do the same (conquer Spain) without an alliance, only moving your troops to The boats and sailing to Spain.
Dont worry we will be ready for battle :D

Now it looks like not very probable but IMO that county deserves being independent at least in high period :)

I thought that you could use deplomacy to get some sort of a deal with forexample france which would allow you to pass through France's territory.
Yes , I was under the Impression that you could negoiate free passage through Diplomacy also.
Developers could you tell us please, just what options/deals can be made through Diplomacy?:)
eg.; can you aquire a Realm through Diplomacy without going to War?.:) :cheers:

Yes i believe so - as i recall it is possible through inheritage. frank has explained this once, but i can't seem to find his post !

You marriage your daughter with the King, the King is dead, you can claim for your rights to rule the kingdom. If he had no princes I believe the kingdom is yours.
Btw, you can send some lads to "help" the King to die a little faster!
Or put some spies in his court, so when he is dead they can claim the crown..

please please take flandres in the game around 1302.
with city's like courtrai and ESPECIALY Ypre. Why?? ===> I live in that city. The great defending city with big walls build bye a french architect is still standing now.
There where also big battles with the english there. but they lost against our finest ARCHERS. I'm a archer to in real live ;).
SO i would be very Happy if a see the name of my city where i could defend it with my hart in game with my archers ;).
Yea, Sure that Ypres was big city in beggining of 14th century, but I think Flandres had some bigger and more famous, like Brugge and Gent (Ghent)
Ypre whas 1 of the 3 biggest city's IN west europe especialy in trading. if there whas a war. you heard about ypre. why it whas better in position then brugge of gent of kortrijk.
